Vecchia Romagna is distilled in the Charentais method (like Cognac) and is made from the same grape, Ugni Blanc (aka Trebbiano in Italy).

A sophisticated and complex brandy, Vecchia Romagna is a blend of fine distillates, the most magnificent of which has been aged for up to 15 years, matured in 3 different casks: French Oak Barriques, Large Slavonian Oak Barrels, and Tonneaux previously used to perfect fine Italian red wine.
