Liquore Strega is a herbal liqueur that according to legend was brewed by witches in the local area of Benevento, Italy and used as a love potion.
Liquore Strega (literally Witch Liqueur) is distilled from a mixture of 70 different kinds of herbs and spices.
Among the ingredients are: cinnamon, juniper, mint, anise, jamaican pepper and lavender.
Its characteristic golden colour is given by infusion of saffron extract.
